Now in its eighth season, the London Short Film Festival features over 200 short film screenings and numerous special live events, installations, talks and workshops taking place at over 20 venues across the capital from tomorrow (until 16 January).

With the emphasis on contemporary British films, the festival will open at the ICA with an evening of live music and DJ sets. Other highlights include the fusion of food and in Shorts a la Carte, a colourful and lively selection of short films which will be projected onto diners’ tabletops as they eat at pan-Asian restaurant Inamo, in Soho, and a major overview of the work of BFI Best British Newcomer Award-winner Clio Barnard. The winner of the UK Film Council Award for Best Short will be announced at the close of the Festival.
