After a major four year renovation project, Lille's Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art will reopen with both a new name and a new extension - by French architect Manuelle Gautrand - this Saturday.

The new Lille Metropolitan Museum for Modern, Contemporary and Outsider Art (LaM) will house a collection of over 4,500 works of art from the 20th and 21st centuries - from Pablo Picasso and Fernand Léger to Lewis Baltz and Dennis Oppenheim - and the most impressive group of outsider art in France.
