The latest autobiographical photographs from one of the world's key contemporary artists are on show in London
Nan Goldin is considered by many to be one of the most important and influential photographers of our time.
Blurring the boundary between documentary and art, Goldin's autobiographical photographs of her friends and lovers honestly confront her personal experiences, exploring ideas of intimacy, alienation and loneliness.
Goldin's latest exhibition Fireleap, takes its name from a slideshow of images of her godchildren and friends' children. With the focus on childhood innocence and the inclusion of landscape scenes in this show, the emphasis is on a somewhat more hopeful dimension to her darker portfolio of work.
