French design stars Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec are encouraging all visitors to London's Victoria & Albert Mueum to sit back and relax with their contribution to this years London Design Festival (September 17 - 25).

Teaming up with Danish textile company Kvadrat they have created a brightly coloured Textile Field made of foam and material which fills the Raphael Gallery of the museum at a staggering 30m wide and 8m long. You can walk, sit, or lie on this vast piece of contemporary design, and just soak up the surrounding art and architecture.

The duo designed the interior for Issey Miyake's Paris store and have also created products for Vitra, Habitat and Gallery Kreo, their work generally combines practicality with a cool urbane elegance.
